Voice Art Group at Athenaeum Theatre
2936 N. Southport Avenue, Chicago, 60657 | directions

Once upon a time, a young man in his thirties walked onto a Moscow theater stage and made history! His original solo play "How I Ate a Dog" won over audiences and critics alike with its sincerity, emotional genuineness, and direct dialog. The man's name is Evgeny Grishkovets.

Created in 1998, the play won numerous awards, then was revised and revived in 2009. Since his first solo play, Evgeny authored several books, appeared in multiple plays and, virtually, taught theater to speak the "human language."
