March 25: Rabbit Summer (Reading)

03.16.2018 12:00:00
Redtwist Theatre hosts staged reading of Rabbit Summer, A #TheatreActionGunControl Reading

Rabbit Summer is spawned from the echoes of Michael Brown, Philando Castille, Eric Garner, and countless others. It examines toxic masculinity's relationship to gun culture, the ethics of gun ownership in the black community, racist police violence, and the effect that all of these have on the modern Black American family. Rabbit Summer asks the question: are Black Americans truly "free" in today's United States?
