Join About Face Theatre in their dynamic live conversation on the work of uncovering hidden LGBTQ histories. Special guests include Victor Salvo, the Executive Director of The Legacy Project and Mia Vivens, Associate Director of Outreach and Engagement for About Face Theatre in conversation with Megan Carney, Artistic Director of About Face Theatre.

This pre-show salon will explore the ways that LGBTQ histories get passed down through generations and highlight some current initiatives in the city. This program is made possible in part by a grant from the Illinois Humanities, the National Endowment for the the Humanities, and the Illinois General Assembly.
A performance of About Face Theatre's Time is on Our Side, written by R. Eric Thomas, will follow the Salon at 7:30 pm across the street at Theater Wit. Tickets are available to purchase for the performance, but are not required to attend the Salon prior.
