Theater Unspeakable showcases The Sacajawea Project: Work-In-Progress Showing

Told in signature Platform style, Theater Unspeakable brings us the story of Sacajawea and her unique role in American history.

Monday, April 2, 2018 at 9:00pm
at Vittum Theater | 1012 N. Noble St., Chicago, IL 60642

Kidnapped at age twelve, sold into marriage at thirteen, the story of this Native woman from a Shoshone tribe has been adopted as a symbol for groups across the countryfrom the early Suffragettes to the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame. This play cuts through the myth to show us the real person, the people who influenced her, and her path to becoming a national legend. This work is also kid friendly.
