Greenhouse Theater Center presents Gulliver devised by Aileen McGroddy as part of their April Trellis Residency Initiative
The Trellis Residency Initiative (TRI) is the Greenhouse Theater Center's revitalized professional development effort designed to cultivate emerging playwrights and devisors under 30 years old through a series of comprehensive one-month residencies. Each resident, selected through an open submission process, is provided with full access to our space and production resources, a mid-career mentor, and the opportunity to elevate their work and career by staffing their project with thriving local artists.

This month's free Trellis public reading presents a new play, Gulliver, by devised Aileen McGroddy and her ensemble, Forks & Hope, under the mentorship of Laura Schellhardt and Devon de Mayo. Gulliver features Forks & Hope Ensemble members and runs at approximately one hour.
The Forks & Hope Ensemble tackles Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels with a contemporary eye. This highly physical devised adaptation is a journey fueled by playful, satirical spectacle.
