at TimeLine Theatre | 615 W. Wellington, Chicago, IL 60657

Join in the conversation at TimeLine’s free Sunday Scholars event, which follows immediately after the 2 pm matinee of its current hit production of Brett Neveu’s striking and compelling new play that exposes a flawed law enforcement operation that walks the line between good intentions an deceit, testing the bonds of a family and community.

Ace da Vinci is a Chicago musician and activist who intertwines his passions and walks the line of balance by self expression and promoting positivity in others' lives. A canvasser and fundraiser for political outlets, alongside with pushing thought-provoking hip hop, is something Ace is passionate about, and he has intentions on bringing both to the light.

John Diedrich is a reporter and assistant editor on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's investigative team, covering criminal justice and federal issues and using data and social media to advance the team's work. His work has been honored with numerous national awards.

Raquel Rutledge is an investigative reporter. Her work has been recognized with numerous national awards, including a 2010 Pulitzer Prize for exposing rampant fraud in Wisconsin's child-care subsidy program.

Our three guests will delve deeper into the themes of mis-placed justice and wrongful arrest in the play, as well as the true-life events that inspired it. Assistant Director Kristiana Rae Colón will moderate the panel, followed by audience Q&A.

This event is FREE and open to the public. If you would like to attend, but are not attending the show that day, please arrive by 3:50pm and you can enter the theatre once the performance concludes. Questions? Call the TimeLine Theatre Box Office at 773.281.8463 x6.
