CIRCA Pintig is proud to share the third annual Chicago Filipino American Theatre Festival, performing at the historic Rizal Center. For the first time, original Filipino plays will be staged and performed. This year’s festival theme is PASABOG–a common Filipino slang term to express how showstopping, brilliant, or extra someone or something is. Our selected plays are spectacular, explosive, and revelatory about the Filipino diaspora and the cultural themes that center the Filipino and Filipino American experience. This year’s plays will be spectacular, excitable, and bold.
