An hour long split bill program featuring the choreographic works of Ryan Dick and Izzy Wolf. The bill opens with Dick’s Dogma, a choreographic exploration of religious themes; pulling the viewer into a journey of questioning ideals and reflection on the religious experience in today’s socio-political world. Following a brief intermission, the bill resumes with Wolf’s work Above Water. A suite dedicated to the lived experience of marginalized groups; exploring the narrative themes of disproportionate labor and community. Above Holy Waters bridges two of Chicago’s emerging choreographic voices for a night to remember.
