Conducted by Bienen School director of choral organizations Donald Nally, the Grammy-nominated, award-winning professional chamber choir makes its Chicago debut with a recent commission from Bang on a Can composer Michael Gordon. The Crossing is joined by the Bienen Contemporary/Early Vocal Ensemble in Gabriel Jackson’s dramatic setting of Pierre Joris’s poem Rigwreck, a meditation on the power of money. This concert is the culmination of The Crossing’s four-day Bienen School residency.

PARKING
Free parking is available in the parking structure just south of Pick-Staiger. Wheelchair accessible parking is in the same lot. Note that a university parking permit is required in this lot until 4 p.m. on weekdays. The main lobby entrance for concerts is on the west side of the building (revolving and regular doors).
