Gwydion Theatre Company is producing a world premiere translation of Dario Fo’s “Non si paga! Non si paga!”. Pushed to starvation by raising grocery prices, Antonia joins a mob of women raiding the shelves of a grocery store. Assisted by her friend Margherita, they hide the groceries from the police and their proud, nationalist husbands. This farce comedy is Gwydion’s second show in Chicago after moving from LA last year.
