Touch Me My Exodus by Isaiah Zavion Boozer

Touch Me My Exodus: This roaring mystic afro-prophetic intertextual Ode of a play
weaves Biblical Mythology, Rap Musicology, & Afro-Cultural Diffusion together, whilst
unrelentingly colliding spiritual warfare with the need of a people to survive. It begs to ask the
question: how does a community break intergenerational curses when those now curses, were
once the same tools they used to survive?

The Deep See by Walter Todd

Staged Reading of a new play that highlights a young writer’s struggle with their inability to live up to and fit in with societal expectations of gender, strength, and masculinity.

Macbeth

Three of Cups Theatre Company presents Macbeth, the age-old story of tyranny, fate, and the destructive nature of unchecked power. Inspired by the world of Samuel Beckett, this production will explore the intersection of fate, destiny, and our own concept of will-power. Do we have any control over our destiny or are our webs woven from the beginning? Macbeth examines the timeless and timely theme of the moral degradation of man, especially when one stops at nothing to achieve their ambitions.

The Den Theatre and comedy club is pleased to host Macbeth on July 24 – August 2, 2025 at 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.

Tickets are currently available at thedentheatre.com or by calling (773) 697-3830.
