Argyle is more than a neighborhood for delicious food. Every other Friday, join Stir Friday Night, Chicago’s longest-running AAPI comedy team, as they highlight AAPI talent throughout the Chicagoland community. Then hang out afterward to get to know the people in your community. This is more than a comedy show. This is our way of highlighting all of the AAPI talent in Chicagoland and fostering connections that can last a lifetime.

Stir-Friday Night! is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater company that was founded in 1995. Based in Chicago, Illinois, we are one of the nation’s premier Asian-American comedy troupes. Having worked with such renowned companies such as The Second City and iO (formerly known as Improv Olympic), Stir-Friday Night! has become a fixture in Chicago’s comedy scene.
As an ensemble of Asian-American actors/writers, we travel the nation performing improv and sketch shows that educate all audiences, from an Asian- American perspective. Our diverse cast keeps audiences laughing while delivering messages with which they can identify.
