A restorative evening of Just(Us) Dinners, a space intentionally created for Black community members to come together, share a nourishing meal, and engage in honest, healing-centered conversation.
This gathering will center on the Art of Living through a live, hands-on art workshop led by Marcia Festen, a visionary artist and facilitator who uses creativity as a pathway to reflection and renewal. Together, we will explore how art-making can open new ways of seeing ourselves, our stories, and our shared community.
Through guided exercises and collective creation, Marcia will invite us to tap into imagination and self-expression as tools for resilience, grounding, and liberation in our everyday lives.
No artistic background is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to create. Come ready to make, reflect, and be held in a space of restoration, joy, and collective care.
Each 2 hour meal gathering will include a media moment to be engaged with and a guided conversation and reflection led by a clinical psychologist who will hold group therapy-style sessions over the meal.
