Traversing decades of joy and strife, from 1899 to 1955, this Tony and Olivier Award-winning new play follows one family’s reckoning with a past it cannot escape and a future it cannot control in an epic story of love, betrayal, and enduring bravery. The final masterpiece from the late Tom Stoppard comes to Writers Theatre in a new production directed by Carey Perloff, the playwright’s beloved friend and frequent collaborator.
