Film/Documentary

For this session we will be watching an episode of the hit series, “Black-ish,” a show that explores a black family that struggles to gain a sense of cultural identity while living in a predominantly white, upper-middle-class neighborhood. We will explore these themes in our daily lives and have an open discussion on the impacts of this on our community and understanding of self.
Each 2 hour meal gathering will include a media moment to screen the film and a guided conversation and reflection led by a clinical psychologist who will hold group therapy styled sessions over the meal.
There is a $15 deposit for your reservation that is returned upon your participation in the event!
