The Yellow Rose Theatre was born in March 2020 – out of the urge to create in the midst of quarantine. Our first production – six webisodes written, performed, and directed on Zoom about life after quarantine.
Then, in 2021:
The Yellow Rose Theatre was the first theatre to re-open to live audiences in Chicago.

Our first live production, Gigi’s Party, was performed for a very limited audience with lot of covid tests and caution – and achieved astounding success. Now, with multiple in-person productions to sold-out houses, Yellow Rose Theatre is known for drawing audiences into our innovative, immersive work – and it’s only just begun.
