Our 3-part cabaret series, 3 Stages of Love, moves to My Buddy’s for its final installment: Extraordinary Love, playing for 3 Fridays in June, starting June 5.

Extraordinary Love is a tale told in song and spoken word that remembers the past, embraces the present and hopes the future will continue to be anything but ordinary.

The semi-autobiographical work was devised by Ensemble Member Khnemu Menu-Ra and features Menu-Ra, Dani Brady and Jean E. Mueller-Burr with Jake Dewar on guitar and Jill Waycie on piano.

No need to have attended all three, each piece stands alone as a complete work.

The cabaret takes place Friday, June 5, 12 & 19 at 7:30 p.m. at My Buddy’s (4416 North Clark St., Chicago, IL 60640). Tickets are pay-what-you-will with an average donation of $20.
