Join The House Theatre of Chicago for Open House showcases of new work!
The House is thrilled to host and support artists this summer who are creating 15 original pieces that will use actors, rock bands, dancers, puzzles and more to tell exciting new stories. This showcase is an opportunity for you to meet the artists involved and be a part of this fun process!

We'll break into groups and tour each project throughout the creative spaces in the state-of-the-art Logan Center.
In Room 1: Verböten
Hear brand new rockin' punk songs from co-creator and real life rocker Jason Narducy!
In Room 2: Ellen Bond, Union Spy
Break-out dance montages let us inside what this incredible real-life spy might have been dreaming...
In Room 3: Litte Girl, Don't Fall
Riffing on the "Bluebeard" story, this new musical is using lots of research and found texts. We'll take a dive into their dramaturgy.
In Room 4: Hatfield & McCoy
Bluegrass-pickin' and gun-slingin'! This House classic is workshopping new music and we'll get to stomp our feet to some tunes!
In Room 5: Nova to Lodestar
From the creative team of The Last Defender, new puzzles are launching into space! Come aboard the ships and try your hand at step one: mechanics.
